Counseling Ministry
Throughout life, many people experience defining moments, challenging circumstances, relational pains, and difficult times. We are here to help. Whatever season of life you are in, or whatever difficulties you are going through, you can find help, healing, and hope through Faith Bible Counseling Ministries.
Vision and Mission Statement

Our goal is to reflect Christ's love and compassion to those hurting by providing a safe and caring environment for individuals, couples, and families free of charge through a confidential, Christ-centered ministry rooted in biblical principles. All our ministry leaders and volunteers are trained and equipped in their area of ministry.
Pastoral Counseling
Pastor Rob provides support and spiritual guidance to people of all ages and circumstances. They offer individual counseling, couple counseling, family counseling, and pre-marital counseling.
Biblical Counseling
Iliana McNutt is the on-staff biblical counselor. She specializes in biblical counseling psychology that is gospel-centered, relationship-based, and clinically informed. She is trained in psychopathology and is equipped to recognize the signs of anxiety and depression. Iliana has a comprehensive knowledge of personality theories and basic clinical counseling skills and techniques, such as CBT. Her counseling sessions include psychoeducation on the current psychological research from cognitive and affective psychology and biblical principles to practical areas of human concern. She offers individual counseling, couples counseling, and family counseling. She also offers life coaching, helping clients improve their day-to-day lives by clarifying goals, identifying obstacles, and formulating strategies that can help overcome those obstacles.
Peer Support Ministry
The peer support ministry is one-on-one support. We connect individuals that are experiencing difficult times with trained supporters who have dealt with similar life experiences and who can listen and pray with and for them. Peer supporters are not counselors or therapists; however, they are trained in active listening and problem solving that can be applied to many real-life situations. Peer supporters use their stories and biblical principles to help others develop hope and improve their lives. Their role is non-directive: they establish an encouraging, loving, confidential, and non-judgmental atmosphere. They help clarify the person’s thoughts and emotions rather than direct the process.
If you are interested in connecting with a peer supporter or in becoming a peer supporter, please contact Iliana McNutt at iliana@faithbiblemd.org.
